How To Bake Fresh Salmon
You can purchase fresh uncooked salmon from your local meat market or local grocery story. I usually buy a 8-9lb salmon fillet from Sams Club because its measured large enough to make several 4oz fillets. Its perfect for meal prepping!
First you will need to rinse the salmon with water. Always wash your produce before cooking, this is so important! :)
Prep Fish:
Next cut salmon into 4-4.5oz fillets
Spray pan with coconut or olive oil and lay fillets in baking pan.
Season fillets to taste. My go to seasonings is Himalayan Pink Salt, Pepper & Herb Seasoning(s).
Optional: Slice lemons into thin slices and lay facing upward on top of each fillet for a more citrus flavor.
Bake:
I prefer my Salmon crispy so I bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes (max time for large quantity). If you prefer a more tender Salmon bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and cover to maintain moisture in fillets.
Remove excessive fat with a fork (this is the white portion that comes out on the sides of fillets)
Allow a few minutes for fillets to cool
Serve and enjoy!
